It’s well worth the expense to have a storage unit while your house is on the market, and boxing up items not in use will help you be prepared to move once it’s sold.
Investing in closet organizers as part of your home upgrades will help your home sell. You can’t factor it dollar-for-dollar, but a home with closet systems is much more appealing emotionally to buyers and more likely to solicit an offer – especially if it’s a walk-in closet!
